Junction 2 is the London-based music festival that does things differently. Since 2016, we’ve been filling idyllic Boston Manor Park with sound and production setups that rival the best clubs, with discerning fans who value quality and with lineups among the most selective and imaginatively programmed in dance music.
Junction 2 is an event that merges the natural with the industrial. Across the park’s leafy woods and open meadows, under the iconic motorway bridge and the custom-designed structures, thousands of friends enjoy a weekend of dancing and taking a moment to breathe in this living corner of the city.
Uniquely on the festival scene, Junction 2 provides a platform for electronic music’s innovators and its crowd-pleasing selectors. We host the legends and the up-and-comers, and we invite all of them to perform on stages that deliver to the high standards of engineering that the music and the fans deserve.
When we started out the ethos was simple; great sound, detailed organisation, a focus on sustainability, no plastic tents, no short sets and no VIP.
We were dissatisfied with festivals where the atmosphere was great but the organisation wasn’t, so we strive to create a synthesis where our guests felt safe and satisfied but still free to indulge in the wild highs which this music we love generates.
And, although the party has grown, our message has stayed constant and our guests return because they trust the judgment and the consistent focus of the organisers. Junction 2 has grown from 1 day to 2, from 3 stages to 5, and from a techno-focused party into a weekend of passion for the very best in underground electronic music. However the festival changes in the future though, it will remain true to our principles of capturing the intimacy of the club experience without expanding to unmanageable numbers that compromise our integrity.
